Session Infomation

In recent years, there has been a significant surge of interest in the development and application of electromagnetic medical sensing and imaging (EMSI) techniques. These technologies have shown new possibilities for non-invasive diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment in the field of healthcare. With advancements in hardware systems and sophisticated sensing/imaging algorithms, EMSI has emerged as a powerful tool for diseases diagnosis.
This Special Session aims to gather original research works that highlight the recent progress, advancements, methodologies, applications, and challenges in the field of EMSI.
Potential topics for submission include, but are not limited to:
Electromagnetic-based wearable devices for health monitoring;
Microwave sensing and imaging techniques for breast cancer detection;
Microwave sensing and imaging for cardiovascular diseases;
Electromagnetic tomography for medical imaging;
Image reconstruction algorithms and signal processing for medical diagnosis;
Emerging trends and future directions in EMSI.
