Session Infomation

Measurement and computation have their respective limitations. In advanced applications (e.g. airborne antennas evaluation, PCB EMC prediction), measurement or computation alone cannot satisfy demand of challenging electromagnetic evaluation tasks. Measurement-computation fusion combines measurement with computation, which can take the respective advantages of measurement and computation while overcoming their shortcomings. This session will cover recent advances in measurement-computation fusion for advanced applications. Topics include but not limited to measurement-computation fusion for:
✦ PCB EMC prediction
✦ RCS evaluation of electrically large scatters
✦ Simulation of antennas on electrically large platforms
✦ 5G and beyond wireless channel characterization
✦ Simulation of complex electromagnetic environments
✦ Accurate wireless positioning in complex environments
✦ Reduced measurement sampling
