Session Infomation

Enabled by the state-of-the-art nanofabrication tools and new thin film materials, the synergistic incorporation of the phononic (mechanical) degree of freedom into integrated photonic and/or optoelectronic devices can potentially address the challenges in future on-chip sensing, communication, and computing in the classical and quantum regimes. This session is dedicated to the general field of integrated nano-opto-electro-mechanical systems (NOEMS) and nano-opto-mechanical systems (NOMS).
