Session Infomation

In advanced wireless systems of 5G/6G communication, automotive radar, security imaging, microwave and millimeter-wave technology has been becoming the key and enabling techniques. In these front-ends, antenna and circuit module are the necessary components, and directly affect the functionality, performance and architecture. Metasurfaces have peculiar electromagnetic manipulation capabilities, thus greatly driving innovation in microwave and millimeter-wave devices and antennas in recent years. This session focuses on recent progresses on the metasurface inspired antennas and microwave components, including but not limited to working principle and design method, wideband and high gain optimization, multibeam and beam steering technique, novel materials and fabrication technology, passive/active component and circuit module, microwave and millimeter-wave applications, etc.
