The advancement of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or drones has ushered in a new era of Earth resource monitoring, revolutionizing the way we collect and utilize critical data about our planet. These versatile and remotely piloted aircraft have found extensive applications in a multitude of fields, from agriculture and forestry to environmental conservation and disaster management. UAVs equipped with advanced sensors and imaging technologies can capture high-resolution data, enabling precise monitoring of land use, vegetation health, water resources, and more. This technology has become instrumental in assessing environmental changes, mitigating the impact of natural disasters, and enhancing sustainable resource management. This session aims to offer a platform for researchers and scientists to exchange their latest innovations, developments, and experiments in the realm of remote sensing employing UAVs, drones, or miniature sensors.
