Plasmon-Exciton Interactions

Session Infomation

Plasmon-Exciton Interactions are known to be responsible for unique properties of plasmonic hybrid nanostructures and are the basis for the advancement of applications across optoelectronics, energy, environmental science, and biomedicine. This session focuses on the fundamental studies of plasmon-exciton interaction in both strong and weak coupling regimes, in plasmon enhanced linear and nonlinear optical responses, and in the development of plasmon-quantum dots and plasmon-molecules structures. Topics of interest also include but are not limited to the utilization of plasmonic hybrids in photocatalysis and the application of plasmonic agents in sensing, imaging, and therapy.
