Session Infomation

The advancement of optical solitons has enabled the manipulation of ultrafast lasers in time, space and frequency domains, inspiring the applications in many areas including precision metrology, laser processing, bioimaging, and so on. This session focuses on the fundamental physics of generation, evolution and interaction of optical solitons to understand the complex dynamics of nonlinear systems, leading to the design of novel light sources, innovative approaches and the expanded application fields. Example topics include but not limited to generation and manipulation of optical solitons, spatio-temporal solitons, optical frequency combs, soliton molecules, nonlinear dynamics, real-time measurement techniques, and the applications of solitons in various fields.
