Metamaterials and metasurfaces are sub-wavelength artificial structures, offering an unprecedented opportunity to manipulate propagation of microwave, terahertz and infrared waves at will. Substantial achievements have been made in reconfigurable terahertz and infrared metasurfaces and their applications. The session will cover important developments including fundamental physics, various interesting phenomena and significant applications.
