Recent advances in structuring light fields with tunable spatiotemporal structures in amplitude, phase, polarization, and spectrum are continually revealing a variety of exotic structured photonic states and unexpected phenomena. This hot topic has infiltrated into all branches of modern optics and photonics, and been blurring the boundary of quantum and classical optics. This session aims at reporting recent frontiers of science in structured light from classical to quantum. The topic focuses on but not limits to novel techniques & devices to control multi-degrees-of-freedom of structured light fields, structured light/photons enabled metrology, communication, topologies, light-matter interface, new physics and applications.
