Applications of Advanced Algorithms in Antenna Design and Array Antenna Synthesis-canceled

Session Infomation

As a vital part of electronic system, an antenna/array antenna plays an essential role in diverse fields, including radar, remote sensing, and wireless communication. To meet the high demands of modern applications, an antenna/array antenna may include many parameters to optimize and compromise, driving innovations in antenna design methodologies. As an illustration, the advent of artificial intelligence (AI) has introduced a new paradigm for addressing high-complexity antenna design challenges, with evolutionary algorithms, machine learning and deep learning offering intelligent, automated and efficient solutions to enhance antenna design processes. The purpose of this special session is to report recent advancements, innovative methods and emerging trends of theory and applications of advanced algorithms including AI algorithm in antenna design, modeling and optimization. Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Antenna and array modeling techniques
  2. Wideband and high-gain antenna design
  3. AI-driven array antenna design
  4. AI for metasurface designs
  5. AI for adaptive array designs
  6. AI-based signal processing techniques
  7. AI-assisted optimization techniques
  8. Other advanced algorithms in the antenna design and array synthesis
