The artificial metamaterials have played an important role in the electromagnetic (EM) field in the past two decades. It is quite interesting that the metamaterials provide the degree of freedom to control the polarization, propagation and radiation of EM waves. As a typical application, the beam steering antennas can be effectively controlled with incooperating the metamaterials. The metamaterials can be used to tuning the phase front of phased array antennas, as well as tailoring the master guidance of leaky wave antennas. In this session, we focus on various technics of metamaterial aided beam steering antennas. Abstracts and full papers are welcome.
